Pumpkin Pie


Ingredients

  • 1 9 inch unbaked deep dish pie crust
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 2 eggs
  • 1- 15 oz can pumpkin
  • 1- 12 fl oz evaporated milk

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425.
  2. Combine sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg in a small bowl.
  3. Beat eggs lightly in a large bowl.
  4. Stir in pumpkin and sugar-spice mixture.
  5. Gradually stir in evaporated milk. Pour mixture into pie shell.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350. Bake for 40- 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. Cool on rack for 2 hours..
