Banana Nut Bread


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup softened butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 large or 3-4 small very ripe bananas
  • 2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup sour milk (add 3/4 t vinegar to milk)
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Beat butter, sugar, and eggs for 3 minutes or until light and fluffy. Stir in mashed bananas.
  3. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Add flour mixture to butter mixture. Stir until well mixed.
  4. Add sour milk. Stir until smooth.
  5. Pour mixture into sprayed loaf pan. Sprinkle top with walnuts.
  6. Bake for 45- 60 minutes.
  7. Try using 2-3 smaller loaf pans.
