Double Chocolate Brownies


Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 (12 oz) chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350.
  2. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a small saucepan, combine butter, sugar and water.
  4. Bring just to a boil. Remove from heat.
  5. Add 6 oz of chocolate chips and the vanilla. Stir until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth. Transfer to a large bowl.
  6. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
  7. Gradually blend in flour mixture.
  8. Stir in 1 cup chips and nuts.
  9. Spread into greased 9 inch pan.
  10. Bake for 35 minutes.
