Ingredients

1 loaf French bread, cut into 3/4 in slices

1/2 cup butter

1 cup brown sugar *** try less- very sweet

2 tbsp corn syrup ** try less

5 eggs

1 1/2 cup milk

1 tsp cinnamon
Directions

Put butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup in a sauce pan. Cook until boiling. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Pour mixture into sprayed 9 X 13 pan.

Put 1 layer of bread slices over top of syrup.

Beat eggs lightly in a large bowl. Add milk and cinnamon and beat.

Pour over bread.

Refrigerate overnight.

Bake at 350 for 35- 45 minutes.

Flip slices over when serving as syrup is on the bottom.
