Taco Crescent Ring


Ingredients

  • 1 lb burger
  • 1 pkg (1 oz) taco seasoning mix
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (4 oz)
  • 2 cans (8 oz each) Pillsbury refrigerated dinner rolls
  • shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, taco sauce or salsa

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Cook burger. Add taco seasoning mix and 1/2 cup water. Simmer for 3-4 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  3. Mix burger and cheese.
  4. Unroll both cans of dough, separating into 16 triangles.
  5. On large cookie sheet, arrange triangles in ring so short sides of triangles form a 5 inch circle in center. Dough will overlap. Dough ring should look like a sun.
  6. Spoon beef mixture on the half of each triangle closest to center of ring.
  7. Bring each dough triangle up over filling, tucking dough under bottom layer of dough to secure it. Repeat until entire filling is enclosed. (Some filling might show a little.)
  8. Bake 20- 25 minutes or until dough is golden brown and thoroughly baked. Cool 5- 10 minutes before cutting.
